Molasses Oatmeal Cookies

Welcome to Daisy Farm Kitchen! Christmas is coming up, so I am trying to bake through all my favorite holiday recipes. Molasses oatmeal cookies fit right in. They consist of oatmeal, raisins, and pecans. These are perfect for family gatherings.

Molasses Oatmeal Cookies

Molasses Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Combine butter and sugars. Add eggs, milk, molasses, and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, powder, cloves. and salt. Beat until well blended. Then add oats, raisins and pecans. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Bake at 350 for 11-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
