This is another recipe from my Grandma Anna Vee called Indiana Refrigerator Cookies.
I’m not sure how this recipe worked from Indiana to Arizona, but its here in my recipe box.
Earlier this week I asked my dad if he remembered making these cookies as a kid, and he said yes, him and his brother would help Anna Vee slice the cookies, and put them on the cookie sheet.

Notes
For these cookies the dough will be very fluffy, so it needs to be in the fridge for at least 2 hours. After the dough is firm, I got a butterknife and sliced 1/2-inch thick slices off the log. I then placed them on a baking sheet with parchment paper. There is a lot of dough in this recipe, so I decided to only bake half of the dough and wrap the other in plastic wrap and wax paper, then placed it in the freezer.
