Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Beat together butter and sugars until light & fluffy. Add vanilla and milk. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix in with the creamed mixture at low speed. Beat in chocolate chips, then nuts. Drop 1 rounded tablespoonful of dough for each cookie. Bake at 350 for 7-9 minutes or until set. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet, then remove to cooling rack.
