Chocolate and Nutty Peanut Butter Cookies

Hello! If you can’t tell already from browsing my website, I love making peanut butter cookies! I like experimenting with different peanut butter cookie recipes to find which one tastes the best. So far, I love the Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies with cocoa powder, crunchy peanut butter, and milk chocolate chips. The recipe for Chocolate and Nutty Peanut Butter Cookies is a close favorite.  For this recipe, I used crunchy peanut butter with semi-sweet chocolate chips. They are delicious!

Chocolate and Nutty Peanut Butter Cookies

Chocolate and Nutty Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup extra crunchy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Combine butter and sugars in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Then add peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until combined. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Then stir in chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are golden. Let cookies cool for 2 minutes, then remove cookies to cooling rack.
