Hello! Lately, I’ve been super into making chocolate chip cookies. There are so many different recipes out there. I found this recipe that is supposed to mimic a popular cookie place. In the original recipe, it called for milk chocolate chips. But, I prefer semi-sweet chips. The cookies still turned out soft and chewy. I couldn’t stop eating them!

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Beat together white sugar, brown sugar, and butter for 3-5 minutes until well blended. Then add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add flours, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Then add chocolate chips. Measure 1/3 cup of dough and form into a ball. Pull the ball in half, then press it back together with one of the jagged edges facing up. Place 6 cookies per baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake. Let cookies sit for 10 minutes then move to the cooling rack.
